Quit vaping without counting puffs.
Puffgap stretches the vape-free time between your sessions a little each week and walks you to a quit day you can see from day one.

A little less every week, then zero.
For the first 3 days you just log; your plan is built from how you really vape. A week moves on when you hit your goal on 5 of 7 days, not when the calendar says so.
Example plan: 20 sessions a day, 16 waking hours, 6 weeks. Yours comes from your own logs.
When you tap “I slipped”, Puffgap says:
This is a slip, not a restart. It's logged, and your plan is waiting for you. The next gap is a fresh chance.
Your vape-free days are never erased. If you like, go back to your last goal for a week, then quit again. Having a rough week? Mark it and the plan holds still.
You're not alone. And the method isn't new.
US adults who vape and plan to quit (60.7%), in national survey data on 30,191 adults. Only 15.2% had tried in the past year.
For smoking, cutting down to quit works as well as quitting abruptly (9,219 people). There's no study this size for vaping yet, which is why “quit today” is an equal choice.
Those few minutes of craving.
SOS opens a 5-minute countdown: breathing, a quick distraction and the note you wrote yourself. A single craving usually peaks and fades within a few minutes.
Try it now: breathe in as the sphere grows, out as it shrinks. You can put SOS on the Action Button, and quit lines are always on screen.
Someone to text at midnight.
The coach knows your plan, your triggers and today's gap. No judgment, short answers. It only works if you say yes.
Even with your phone in your pocket.

One tap on your wrist.
Your vape-free time runs on your watch, so you can log without reaching for your phone.

With a friend.
Add each other with a one-time code. You see only a nickname and days on target; no chat, just cheers.

After you quit.
For 90 days, guard mode gets you ready before your riskiest hours. Money saved is counted at the price you entered.
You can also log from widgets, the Lock Screen, the Dynamic Island, Siri and Control Center. Tapped by mistake? Undo within 10 minutes.
A year of Puffgap costs less than five weeks of vaping.
Logging, SOS and quit lines will never cost money. Premium unlocks the personal plan that walks you to your quit day.
What do you spend on vaping in a week?
Not sure? Divide what a device costs by how many weeks it lasts. The app counts your savings with your own price too.
That's about £436 a year. A year of Puffgap Premium is £39.99 in the UK and $39.99 in the US: less than five weeks of vaping.

A quit app should never be the place that shames you on the day you slip.
Most quit apps start a counter and reset it at the first slip. When people see that zero, they usually quit the app, not the vape.
So I built Puffgap the other way around. It meets you where you are, then opens the gap a little every week. Slip up and nothing is erased. Not ready? It waits.
I'm building Puffgap on my own. There's no company or investor behind it, so I can make you a few promises directly:

- A slip won't send you back.Your vape-free days are never erased. The counter doesn't reset; the plan waits.
Questions
What is Puffgap?
Puffgap is an iPhone and Apple Watch app for people who want to quit vaping. It doesn't ask you to count puffs: you log each session with one tap, and the app stretches the vape-free time between sessions a little each week, walking you to a quit day you can see from day one.
Should I cut down or quit vaping cold turkey?
Both work. A Cochrane review of 22 studies (9,219 people) found that for smoking, cutting down to quit works as well as quitting abruptly. There is no study this size for vaping yet. Puffgap supports both: a 4, 6 or 8-week cut-down plan, or “quit today”. Cochrane, 2019
How long does a quit vaping plan take?
You choose: 4, 6 or 8 weeks. The plan starts with 3 days of just logging, so your goals come from how you really vape. A week moves on when you hit your goal on 5 of 7 days, not by the calendar; if it gets hard, the week repeats with no penalty.
How long does a vape craving last?
A single craving usually lasts 3 to 5 minutes. That is why Puffgap's SOS screen is a 5-minute countdown: breathing, a quick distraction and the note you wrote yourself. NHS inform
When does nicotine withdrawal from vaping stop?
Withdrawal is strongest in the first days, especially the first 3: restlessness, irritability, trouble sleeping and focusing. Most symptoms pass in about 3 to 4 weeks. The guidance was written for smoking; nicotine withdrawal from vaping brings the same symptoms. NHS
Is Puffgap free?
Logging, the vape-free timer, a fixed goal you choose, widgets, Apple Watch, SOS, Friends and quit lines are always free. The personal weekly plan, quit day, AI coach and guard mode are in Premium: $39.99 a year, starting with a free trial.
Do I have to count puffs?
No. You just log the session, one tap. Counting puffs is optional.
I'm not ready to quit today.
You don't have to be. For the first 3 days you only log and give up nothing. When you feel ready, “quit today” is an equal choice.
What happens if I slip?
Nothing resets. Your total vape-free days are kept and the plan picks up where you left off.
Where is my data?
On your phone. No account, no ads. Discreet mode uses a neutral icon, keeps “vape” out of notifications and asks for Face ID on open.
How do I cancel?
On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
I smoke cigarettes too.
Log them with the same tap. The plan cuts your total nicotine sessions.
Is it on Android?
Not yet. iPhone and Apple Watch for now.
Today you give up nothing.
Just start logging and let Puffgap build your plan. For iPhone and Apple Watch.
